Thunderstorms moving north through west Alabama prompted the NWS to issue a couple of tornado warnings this afternoon. As soon as these storms moved north of a warm front draped across west Alabama, the storms diminished quickly. A tornado watch that was in place until 10:pm has just been canceled. No reports of damage or injuries.
A few light showers across central Alabama may move into east Alabama soon but will likely produce sprinkles. Better rain chances move in after midnight and continue through Thursday.
A few strong storms can not be ruled out Monday. However, the best chance will be Tuesday afternoon and evening.
