Some Sun Today; Rain and Thunder Tonight

A nice start to your Tuesday with a mix of sun and clouds and a slight chance of a shower this afternoon. Temps will hit the mid to upper 70s this afternoon as clouds thicken in advance of our next disturbance which will bring a good coverage rain for east Alabama late tonight into Wednesday morning. Between a half and three-quarters of an inch of rain is expected in the next 12 hours or so. A lingering shower is possible Thursday morning but we should dry out nicely Thursday in preparation for a fine weather weekend Friday – Sunday. Clear skies with temps in the upper 60s – mid-70s for the weekend.

Gas Shortage: Folks, Stop buying up all the gas! The Colonial hack is temporary and fear is the only reason there is a shortage. Colonial says they will be operational by this weekend and flow should return to normal shortly after. There isn’t a shortage of gas. The sudden surge in demand from fear is the reason for the shortage. Conserve gas usage, buy responsibly for the next few days, and we will be just fine.
