The Heat is On!

We are blocked! High pressure has settled in across the eastern half of the United States and is blocking weather systems to our west. Its like a huge wall setting across the Alabama / Mississippi state line preventing weather systems from moving east. Heavy rain and severe storms continue to pound Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi while dry and warm conditions will prevail across Alabama and Georgia for at lest the next 9 to10 days. Temps will slowly climb into the low to mid 90s by Sunday and Monday of next week. We may come close to record breaking heat by the middle of next week. Most locations still have a 5″+ rain surplus so as long as we do get some rain in a week or so, we should okay.
