As an Emergency Manager, I see some horrible things. Saturday’s accident on I-65 near Greenville was horrific! Eight children ranging in age from 4 – 17, were killed when their van was involved in a unimaginable accident. The van was returning to Camp Hill, in Tallapoosa County, from a trip to Gulf Shores. A father and his 9 month old, in a different vehicle, also lost their life in the accident.
The girls were from the Tallapoosa County Girls Ranch in Camp Hill. If you are interested in sending a card of support please mail to: Tallapoosa County Girls Ranch 147 Samford Drive Camp Hill, AL 36850. The father and 9-month old was from New Hope Tennessee. 29 year old Cody Fox was was employed by the Marion County Emergency Management Agency.
Please send up prayers for these folks. Lord knows they will need it….
