We start the day with Sunny and normal December temps as the low-pressure system that gave us the dreadful weather of yesterday moves off to the east and high pressure takes control of our weather.
The first half of Christmas week will be seasonal with daytime highs in the mid to upper 50’s and overnight lows in the low to mid 30’s. A warming trend will kick in Wednesday and by Christmas Day, will see low 70’s for afternoon highs. Though it’s not the White Christmas we all desire, 2016 holds the record for the warmest Christmas on record at 78 degrees.
I have completely removed the mention of rain Christmas Eve night into Christmas morning. Models are now indicating we will remain dry all the way through next Tuesday and even then we are only looking at a 30% chance of rain.
