Unfortunately, we may have to deal with a significant severe weather threat Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning across east Alabama and west Georgia. There remains some uncertainty of the exact placement and timing but confidence is increasing.
The time to prepare is NOW! Never rely on outdoor warning sirens to warn you during severe weather events! They are not designed for indoor warning! Get a NOAA Weather Radio. Download a good weather app, www.drdonwx.com is a good option and know where your safe place is. If you live in a mobile home, arrange for a shelter location at a friend or family members home. Never wait for a warning to leave a mobile home.
